Time Flies When You're Supposed To Be Studying, Doing Laundry, Buying Kitty Litter, Washing the Bathtub, etc.

Mainly studying this week. Ready to have a life again. Letting these pics speak for themselves.

i'm so dang excited about thanksgiving break PART II

It snowed like the dickens at my parents' house in Moriarty. 8 inches! And then I went to the Egyptian exhibit at the museum. I couldn't take any good pics because there were 5 guards per 25 square feet so I photoshopped me in front of the pyramids. Unfortunately, I realized that I didn't actually visit Egypt, just an Egypt Exhibit, about 80% of the way into my photoshopping so I replaced it with a pic of me in front of another Egyptian exhibit. I'll post both pics anyway. Ex-boyfriend's b-day is today so I'll probably have some pics of myself moping around a beer pong table tonight. dang.

i'm so dang excited about thanksgiving break PART I

... and yes, I stole 'dang' from Ash, who has been saying it a lot lately. We went to the library since school became ghost territory after the last class. They put neon stickers on the carpet like traffic lanes since there is a high nerd ratio at CSEL. When nerds walk towards each other, they tend to do that thing where they both go left, then right, then left, then stay where they are, then left, then left again, then right. So the library figured out a system to cease the confusion. Marc and I ate at Vietnam 2000 then bought an autumnal tree from Clark's Pet Emporium for his goldfish. I can't be sure, but goldfish appreciated having a seasonal change in his plexiglass home. I dragged Marc along to the craft store and QUICKLY bought black and white paisley and checkered paper before he shot himself through the roof of his mouth. Finally I can frame a couple of the Yoshitomo Nara postcards Claire bought me.

woke up with salsa skunk taste in my mouth

I turned off the camera flash at the party last night and everything looks like a terrible 1st year art student project. It was another bday party and the birthday girl, Meredith, had a band from Portland playing guitars and mandolins in her living room. The girls laid out sweet treats, hummus and salsa crammed with tomatillos and cilantro. Normally good, but while drinking everyone was using the teeny flakes that fall off of whole tortilla chips to scoop up the dips. At least we didn't spell "dum dum earth" on the cupcakes like we did at Piper's 19th going away bash.
That guy with the beard is from the band.
