summer classes

I've decided to take a summer class. Maybe a couple. Maybe a triple. Depends on how much they want from my coin bucket.

The french class is asking a reasonable $110 for 13 sessions, but it's only level 1 and I'm pretty sure I'd be wasting my time/laundry money on avoir, etre, aimer conjugations.

The cost of beginning piano is ridic and for the most part I think I can teach myself the basics. After all, I taught myself saxophone in two weeks when I realized you can't do marching band with an oboe. Wow, nerd sentence.

There are other classes that I cannot fathom like Nightclub Dancing Basics, Bath Bombs & Fairy Dust, and The Many Ways of a Salad. Can you imagine? Dear Mom and Dad, How are you? I'm great, you know I still don't have a job, but I am taking a class through UNM called The Many Ways of a Salad. Please don't worry about me. I assure you the majority of my peers have disappointed their parents in ways not measured by any other generation. Love, your pride and joy.

Yuck, bad taste in my mouth. I'm gonna go print out my resume again.

big ole ...

I'm really not a fan of Peta, but mainly Peta supporters. I've read only about the droves of automatons Peta has accrued for their boring, too obvious attacks on animal cruelty parties, however deserving they may be. Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm a fan of being cool. And throwing theater students and out of work actors into an Improv Everywhere inspired frenzy for publicity only detracts from their message of ethical treatment of animals. As a veggie-tarian myself and embarrassed to be in any way associated with Peta, I gladly help myself to the shores of the ASPCA. If I could, I would wish Peta's overly hyped protests and self-congratulatory participants to "be cool." Come on Peta, you reek of smugness ... ugh, and you're not even getting anything done! Where did you land on the KFC thing?

THAT BEING SAID,

OMFG, Sasha Grey's body looks beautiful and real (yes, of course, it's photoshopped, but not in its usual stick figure way!) in this advert! I love it. Totally doesn't make up for being an asshole kind of organization, but still, BONERS! Did you know she's only 21?! (Remember when 20 seemed "old?" WAAAAAAH! I'm going off to count my gray hairs ...)

sober style, girly

Let's straight talk. I've given up drinking alcohol ... sort of. Basically, I've given up drinking alcohol like I used to. Losing my bag, throwing up from too many drinks and waking up hung as fuck last Thursday was so beyond depressing that I was seriously afraid to be left alone on Friday. Weird.

Hopefully, without sounding preachy, drinking like that is such a waste. Wasted memories, wasted money, wasted morning after and usually, wasted day as well. Was this a youthful phase? A facet of making mistakes and learning from them? Am I maturing from this experience or damaging myself because of it? To me, and I think, maybe to a lot of other people my age, it's impossible to see the difference in ephemeral vices and the beginning of harmful dependency.

So, when I got invited to go cray cray downtown on Saturday, I saw it as an opportunity to test out my sobriety. I would put myself in a group of friends with drinks and restrain myself. Could I do it? Turns out, yeah, I can, this time. I think, it may not seem like a big deal, but it is a small victory that becomes more significant each day. That was only a couple days dry, we'll see how I am after a couple months!

Obvie, this is only for my own little heart and brain. To each their own! I don't regret my fledgling lush years, and anyway, this is sounding like a closing statement to rehab release papers. I'm not shaking from neurological damage quite yet and no amount of promises here will keep me from going bonkers in Las Vegas or occasionally with the girls. But, realizing I was using alcohol as a requirement for going out was nutso.

The biggest reason I decided to slow down my drink-drink is my skin condition! I've been consistently breaking out all over my face, chest and back for the past several months. And um, yuck. Nothing motivates me quicker than threatening my goal of looking 21 forever! Ooh, forever 21, that reminds me, I'm revamping the wardrobe with $$$ I'm going to make at the yard sale. What do u think of my inspiration photos?

French ingenue meets siren meets untamed youth ... just, anything not empire waisted. I'm so desperately tired of that silhouette on my body. And if nothing else, I will have clear skin damn it! Here's to a glass of milk* right before bed!!!!

*rice milk- I'm head over heels in love with that stuff.

beep beep beep beep beep NEWS REPORT FROM THE FRONTLINES

Have always hating wearing glasses. Always. From the first humiliating surprise that I failed my eye charts with the school nurse in 5th grade to last weekend, when I wore them out to a "Dress as you did in Middle School" party. Hate. Hate. Hate.

And can you not see why? Look at this:

What the eff?

OK, IS THIS WHAT I REALLY LOOK LIKE AND NO ONE EVER TOLD ME?!!!!!!!!!!!!? (Should I sell this picture to the Halloween store next year?)

Seriously? Seriously? Seriously. Seriously! Seriously? Seriously? Seriously!!?

Smile

for

the camera!

Omg. I seriously cannot pull off glasses. MOVING ON.

I'm busy today and shouldn't even be on the puter, so Saturday Morning Pictures will be posted late. I sincerely hope these pics weren't the first thing you woke up to, but if they were, things can only go up from here. I'm off :)

another marvelous late night early morning combo

My favorite man made device "THE PARADE," made a resurgence last Saturday in the East Mountains. It was a parade for Edgewood's 10th Birthday. We, of course, went out the night before and fucked ourselves with late night bedtimes and booze.

11 PM

12 AM

2 AM

3 AM

9 AM

At this point, it's like why still go out? Why go out when you need to get up at 7? Why? What's the point? But, I'm not dying if I'm not sleeping. Right? Damn it ... I'm fucked.

Hands down the best entry. Biker gangs always effing crush the comp. Warms my heart...

Terrible angle, but still a cute subject. Even.

Why did I take a picture of the septic tank?

A lot more guns then the usual parade.

This is the pony section.

THE END! Here's our loot:

Also, we got handed a few Bible verses printed on toilet paper or something ... whatevs.

BONUS SECTION: KITTIES!!!!

Omg, do you do scary face on purpose, Chomp Chomp?!

I love when you guys snuggle up close :)
