I help my dad sell at the corrales growers' market on sundays from 8 to 12.
on this particular sunday we only had our zucchinis, squashes, dill and green beans ready. this year my parents grew a peculiar type of squash that looks like a lime green eggplant. believe me, those old veggie purchasing folks were quite impressed.
i will go again this next sunday. they'll have most of their products available. squashes, zucchinis, sunflowers, dill, snow peas, green beans, corn, carrots, and my favorite favorite: turnips. see you there.
