last week at giovanni's

so yeah, we went to giovanni's pizza over on san pedro and gibson or something who really knows? look, here's the directions: drive south of san pedro and keep going. yeah, past the interstate, past the hastings, past the state fair grounds, past the mexican marts, past the restaurant that puts photos of its food on the sidewalk, past the candy cane park we saw a dead person laying in one day, past the forever row of 2 bedroom houses and then look right or rather, west.

ash and i got the yum yum house salad and ONE slice of pizza. green chile for her and mushroom for me. fairly reasonable meal. but si decided on the half a pizza meal. seriously. they had to serve his meal on one of those huge silver plates instead of the paper ones because he got enough pizza for a WHOLE FAMILY.
Giovanni's has the greatest pizzas and italian related foods in albuquerque. no contest. their sauce is good not too sweet and perfect spices. whatever toppings i get, they always put the perfect amount. really greasy. one time i ordered a spinach calzone and ate it all myself. who am i kidding, that happens all the time. there's a good chance everyone will find something they like there. plus the owners are real new york italian americans not that that means anything except perhaps their poster of ralph macchio holds slightly more credit.on their trashcan there's a tv which is usually playing judge judy, judge alex, good movie on spanish channel, etc. and totally masturbate to CHRISTOFA!! from the sopranos poster. their bathrooms aren't bad either. one time i almost sat in there for 15 minutes and no one bothered me. please don't ever remind me to tell you why. oh yeah and good idea to put a mirror on the wall cause then we all secretly check our teeth for dried veggies.
