such beautiful weather on saturday! We walked over to unm campus 4 hours too late and had to drop kick a few slow pokes just to get to the the very last events at international festival. Mainly we walked around the building and answered questions for the lost language students. nerds.

the bring your own shit bbq aka skate-b-q went swimmingly. stood around. grilled hot dogs and kabobs. sat on a skate ramp.

jessica!!!!!
someone's pants caught on fire from this baby.

so after the skating falling drinking piss beer grilling eating we all sat around and told campfire stories. bought some berry vodka, more cheap beer and fried chicken chips. it became dark quickly. usual winter nightfall though. more fun stuff but it goes in my dear diary not here.

our friend, carly, had an art show i think and had an after party at her house. we left the bbq and went over there. confusing neighborhoods. carly's incredible i wish we went to her art show. and everyone there was polite at best. standoffish at worst. plus the older gentleman who hangs out downtown and stands slightly too close to the obviously underage girlies was there. whatevs. one of the ladies there was tall tall tall and blonde and it reminded me of this picture:
which is more interesting than the only pic i got at her house. breakfast at tiffany's poster? what was i thinking?
then we went downtown while waiting around for jay. it was only 11 O'CLOCK!? turns out we were born as ghosts was the band playing. the guitarist/singer went to high school with me. a bunch of high school kids there. this is what it must feel like to have gone to albuquerque or highland hs.turns out it's not so interesting.

sssssecrets! also, there's calvin in the background.
the band was good. no music review this time though we were only there for 30 minutes. we decided to take a midnight stroll around unm campus. stopped at my place and chugged orange juice and vick's vitamin c. J brought over a bag of cheese that melted in his car. gross.

fun night. it started out at 2pm-ish and ended at 6am-ish. we were in a sorry state on sunday but that didn't stop us from going to the fiery foods thingy at sandia casino.

burnt tongues and all it was pretty sweet. spicy sweet. i tasted a million salsas, hot extract syrupy things, spicy pickles, salty popcorn, green chile dips. who knows what else. i probably ate part of somebody's hat like a goat because i just opened my mouth and started chewing as soon as i stepped inside the ballroom. we got turned away from the free wine cooler slushies cause we asked for too many free samples. And we waited in line at the free beer table for probably hours. and unfort, i drank something called chalotta, probably spelled wrong, it was made of budweiser and clamato drink. please. do not. drink. this. drink. under. any. circumstances. Then at the end while we were walking out exhausted, hung over, sore tongues, marc and si saw a lady who looked like 'hispanic barbie' and had 'two torpedos coming out of her chest with a synthetic gawdy butt'. guess who said what.
