dance party bathing suit

Here are some downtown pics from a month ago.

Sometimes my cheeks break out in a rash when they play Joy Division, too.

I bought this halter ruffle bathing suit at The Painted Bird in the Mission when je visitais Rye en San Francisco. Quite possibly my favorite thrift store item ever purchased. Dream colors!

How is every. single. girl. wearing black and white stripes now? Borg collective, bla bla bla. Let me rephrase: how did I not notice every. single. girl. wearing b&w stripes before I bought my own b&w striped shirt?! I'm part of the same target commercial as them. Tears.

Man, it must be time to go dumpster diving for new clothes. P.S. Marc, that reminds me, there was a styrofoam take-out box inside of another styrofoam take-out box inside of a greasy pizza box in the fridge. There was no food in any of the containers, should I throw it out? Why was it like that? I hate when you're out of town. We could have laughed at that for at least 4 minutes. :( MOVING ON.

It was DJ Eve's last night. She moved to Chicago. You can read about it in the alibi archive, wherever that is. The new thursday night DJ looks like a raver.

Thank god for David Bowie.

This is a separate night. I caught the flu from one of the fucking sick zombies out this night! Are you guys worried about H1N1? New Mexico has already had over 20 deaths from it. The most recent one being an 11 year old in Albuquerque. My immune system is pretty effing rock solid, but I guess, you make one mistake and you might be contaminated. Plus, while I was still sick, Marc emailed me news articles about all the exceptionally healthy young people in their 20's dying from H1N1 and how the doctors couldn't figure out why their body didn't kill the virus. BTW, thanks, Marc. I'll start whittling my wooden tombstone.

ANYWAY! We went out the next night for music and brewskis. Cute girls in cute skirts. Shy guys in sweaty tee shirts. Spilled drinks and indoor christmas lights!

playing tooth guitar riffs. normal.

Hmmmm.

Time to switch to boots. I'm looking for vintage scratched, black leather boots this year.

I wear pig tails now. Did I tell you? I know I know, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

Oh, I forgot to tell you, the rest of the leaves turned light green and yellow.

But this was a month ago, so they're all brown and rotten on the ground now. HAPPY FALL!

let's bring back porn excitement!

Pornotopia in Albuquerque is here again!

And Self Serve is having a Kick Off Party tomorrow night during the Nob Hill Shop & Stroll. I RSVP'd already, did you? Free beer, sex toy silent auction, Pornotopia party, and hearing about the featured sex films. Ew, I sound like a commercial.

Let's talk about rock hard nips.

I'm a little sad there isn't more lesbian porn - my fav. But, the lesbian sex films they do have include an indie film "with a lot of explicit sex" that addresses the real life butch/femme couple. Cool! I've never watched butch/femme lesbian sex so this will be a first! Yay! NEW EXPERIENCE! I have nightmares about typical lesbian porn - the kind where both women are blonde, skeltor skinny with lip injections and bowling ball tits. I keep imagining their pointy, steel nipples bursting the other one's implants and getting doused in silicone. Actually, that sounds kind of ..... JK!!!!!!!!!!!

Plus, omg, they're showing retro skin flicks and burlesque films with actual belly dancers and burlesque troupes! I might go to that by myself or with Jessica. Marc would shoot himself in the bathroom out of sheer boredom. There's also an night of erotic instructional sex films. Hopefully, I can suggest this to the dry hole neighbors.

Look at this legend for Pornotopia's films:
Bike smut? Live Acts? Yes!

put on ur halloween faces or get the fuck out

Halloween costume party pics, guys! Pics from the good one! Earlier in the night, Marc and I hung out with the normies in the NE Heights, where some ass wipe called me a "pretty, pretty princess." Granted, it's not the most vindictive insult, but it was the way she said it like I was a common sexy cop or slutty schoolteacher. What a cunt. I was covered in slimy blood! I had bloody veins in my hair! I was a symbol of puberty! I was Carrie! How more disgusting and further from a pretty, pretty princess could I be? Plus, ex-boyf, B.H. was there with his .................... wife?! And Marc got really tipsy on fat tire and almost fell into the bonfire.

ANYWAY!

Let's get to the good stuff.

Best expression(s) EVER.

How do you guys feel about non-scary Halloween costumes? HO-HUM, yeah? No? If it's not creepy, scary, weird, or extremely sexy, then it might as well be any other costume party, but I'm a huge sucker for Halloween tradition and mythology. I'm thinking of being a comatose burlesque dancer next year. What'ya think?!?!?!

Classic J costume.

A fuzzy pink animal tied to his neck? What does it mean?!

Then we took turns posing with the passed out hesher.

I'm sending this one to Rabbi Perlstein, is that ok, Meo?

And, of course, I had enough Jell-o shots to lock myself in the bathroom for 20 minutes posing in the mirror.

It sounds (i.e. is) psychotic when I do this by myself, but my Ashy and Claire Bear were with me in spirit.

It's not a party until we lock ourselves in the toilet room yelling "SHUT THE FUCK UP! WE'LL BE OUT IN A MINUTE!" when the line outside the door keeps knocking.

I miss my besties :(

Gloom.

So, it was a great, wonderful and typical costume party. Toward the end, a ton of Abercrombie-brain frat boys showed up with their non-existent-vag-lip girlfriends. Ouch, that was a little too truthful. Someone made kitty cupcakes with licorice whiskers. CUTE FAINT! Then I got in a fight with some man dressed as a tooth fairy because he was talking shit about my old man.

It's lovely being a girl. I've yet to be punched.

I've got to take these posters down tomorrow! I'm being such a laze about it.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! I hope you guys had a cool night too. Isn't it amazing how we're expected to dress up and BE SOMEONE ELSE for a whole day?! I'm still blown away by it. 363 days to plan my next fright night costume. Let's plan on meeting in NYC or Chicago for the next one though.

total gore and bloodbath

Well, we survived our super fun great idea last minute DIY Halloween costume decoration extravaganza. Lots of conversations about fake blood. Lots of fondling dusty lingerie. Lots of arguments about plastic wigs.

Chompers got a new collar. It's cowboy motif. Also, ew. Time to clean the tub corners.

We rushed home and I put on the thrift store 70's prom dress (actually just a yellowing floor length night gown), stood in the tub and splashed stage blood all over it. I smeared it, dripped it and made it look as disgusting as possible. We needed to do it fast so it would dry by night time parties.

Weird. Why did I label my censor bars? (This looks like a high school art project).

La fake blood bled through the fabric so the process was messy fun! Plus, the bathroom looked like bloody carnage. Weirdly satisfying. Every pic is nude tho, so I covered myself up with censor bars even though it counteracts my beliefs in diy punk/counter culture/contempt of the stranglehold Christianity has on our current view of modesty. EXHALE!

Now that I think of it, we should have staged fake blood period sex photo ops. How much do you hate/love period sex? We need to talk about this sometime. It'll be fun! PROMISE!

The tiara cost $5.99 at the mall. I'm going to wear the fuck out of it to get my money's worth.

I was attempting SOMETHING (art? humor? political statement?) by censoring my bits and still labeling them, but it now looks like a serial killer's artwork. Creepy!!!!!!!!!!! BUT ALSO RELEVANT! REMEMBER it's halloween, guys!!!!!

I'll post the party pics in a bit :) THANK YOU FOR VISITING G LA FILLE!!!!
