ok. so Saturday Tim wanted to see one (or all?) of the bands on the flyer <------ on the left, cool flyer, and was being understandably pissy that we were still watching celebrity rehab at 11. i think i was being pissy too cause i didn't laugh once while we were watching it. anyway, fiiiiiiiinally we left and walked all the way downtown from Walter and Silver using all the alleys and dark street with no lights and that one road where everyone pees in the bushes after we've been drinking and don't realize that cars passing by can completely see us and remember that time rapha tried to watch us girls pee and one of the guys got all gentlemenly and stopped him. ahahha sort of. i shouldn't talk about peeing in the street for a while ....... meeeeeemmmmories! So I think we got there in time for Cherry Tempo, Oktober People and Giranimals. Honestly I can't remember any sounds besides the Giranimals, which I REALLY LIKED but didn't say anything cause si and ash didn't like 'em. Their dislike for them is understandable too, i think they normally have 5 or 6 people in the band, so said someone in my ear, but tonight only 2 were there, a keyboardist and a drum or bass, i forget. ok. wait. i just looked at their myspace and the giranimals actually only have 2 people. ok. so I liked them a lot cause the girl's voice reminds me of my favorite getting dressed band, THE LIKE. and i wish i had a cute girl band too but i think my voice isn't right for it. when i'm thinking about it my voice can be pleasant like perfect for asking introspective questions or asking if you'd rather eat strawberries or cereal for breakfast in a pillow talk sort of way but when i'm not thinking about it, it becomes the voice of the ceo of a sausage company. anyway maybe i will finally get my keyboard from my parents' house this weekend. ash, do you want to be the singer cause you have my favorite girl voice. simon. be the backup singer. the giranimals are warm and fuzzy sounding and yeah i have a penchant for that type.
