I decided to wear two outfits last night, one for beer pong birthday party and one for downtown sexy cha cha bars. One of my high school friend's birthday party was last night and of course they live all the way up in the NE HEIGHTS. oh my gosh, i need to become a "keepin' it real moving to albuquerque guide" (patent pending) i could do so much good like telling all the young people to stay as far away from owl cafe and walmart/target area, you're not 45 you need to be able to walk to bars and not become a beer pong invalid. So here's the NE HEIGHTS BEER PONG PARTY.

below on the far left is the brother to the guy whom i aggressively made out with last year when he didn't tell me he already had a girlfriend in another country and yeah this is a terrible pic so what. oh yeah, the guy on the right is the guy who asked me to motorcycle with him today.
there's my ex-bf on the right. he's an engineer. i don't miss him anymore but i do miss sitting in the grass with shorty shorts and a floppy hat drinking sonic slush and watching him play soccer. but it wasn't about him, it could have been anyone.
at one point someone asked if I wanted a 'bulldozer' and gene said it was just tequila, salt and lime "don't worry it's just TAKEELAH, SALT and LIME!" so we all asked what the big deal was and it turns out a bulldozer isn't the yummy LICK SLURP BITE tequila salt and lime but SNORT SLURP SQUEEZE. As in, you SNORT the salt, SLURP the shot and SQUEEZE the lime INTO YOUR EYES.Ok, here's the downtown part of last night. We saw colourmusic and they're from oklahoma and london but i think mostly from oklahoma they probably just hired a brit to classy up their act. Personally I fell in love with the keyboardist/guitar guy on the far left of the stage cause he had a big beard but the bass player with matt damon style face was pretty cute he was on the far left and has blond hair. although the drum player was hitting the drums so hard that he got really sweaty and had to take his jacket off. steamy.

oh yeah, they threw a bunch of white streamers into the crowd at one point and one of the rolls behind me fell in a piss puddle and marc picked it up and threw it back to the stage where it landed on the drummer's crotch.

you probably don't know this but below is the coolest picture everrrrrr.

so the lady in the leopard jacket is one of the cashiers at ghetto smith's and she was rocking out so hard. there was literally a 3 foot radius of empty space around her because she was head banging while belly dancing while stomping while spinning. I think at one point she held on to the stage with both hands and used it as a balance so she could lean back and head bang more.

i have beard fetish, ok?

i was staring at the pic above for ten minutes deciding if i should delete it after all it's not exactly the best quality and tim looks grumpster and half of it is taken up by smith's leopard lady but then I saw that marc has a beer in his back pocket. aaaaaaaahahahahahah!

um. what. the. fuck. what is going on with my face here? triple chin. check. yellow teeth. check. no upper lip. check. grease head. check. chin pimple. check. sweat mustache. check. is it too much to ask that at LEAST ONE THING go right with my face? this is seriously fucked up how can i leave the house looking somewhat decent pretty and end up like this only 2 hours later did i pass through a wormhole that turns me into a trashed up fat girl? no. i think that wormhole is called vodka. unfortunately it's the only one i have of me and the singer of colourmusic.
marc looks like when a cat poses for the camera and the others look like regular humans. humans are always nonchalant about picture taking like ho-hum let's not open the wall to our emotions and usually that's why people look terrible in photos. but marc opened up the wall and is telling the camera a story with HIS EYES. what does any of this mean? plus look at the guy in the background. scarrrrry.
after the show a guy was doing card tricks for shots of whiskey and the frat guys bought into it.

last call and everyone scattered outside and lit their cigarettes. j talked to a guy in a wheelchair for a while and then came over to our group then the wheelchair guy's friend went up to j and accused him of talking shit about his wheelchair bound friend for like 10 minutes. j was just talking to him chummy like and his friend got aggressive about it. this story is not funny in written form, either that or i'm relaying it poorly. oh well, it was pretty funny. also his fly was down all night and we finally told him at the end of the night. hahahahha.

oh yeah, so this is what i changed into to go downtown. much better.
wait. i almost forgot to review the band. colourmusic was unexpectedly awesome. atomic cantina rings of rockabilly, sort of punk and gothy kind of bands so it was such a treat to listen to these guys. Their schtick was that all of them wore the same clothes = WHITE ( shoes + socks + pants + jacket ) + 3 (white guitar) != neckties. They're one of my favorite live bands cause of the streamers and matching outfits and poppy music. It was nice dancing to live music instead of a RECORD. Plus at several times during the show the singer would scream into the mic like a banshee and yeah it was sexy what can i say? Everyone was saying they sounded a lot like flaming lips so sure, i'll agree with them, it's not a bad comparison. Plus, I think i would kind of like listening to them in my car and that is the true test of musical genius.
