zizi means willy in french, etc

i love this exhibit. Paris currently has an exhibit created for children 9 to 14ish about love, kissing, puberty, sex, pregnancy, condoms, masturbation, menstration, breaking up, the pill and body parts.

here are a couple of my most favorite quotes from the exhibits website:

"It's really hard to explain love. Even adults have trouble.

Let's say you've got loads of friends and all is well with the world. But then suddenly, one stands out from the crowd: better looking, better personality, better everything. The one you love seems wonderful even if they've got a huge nose or wear glasses. Loving someone sometimes makes you happy and sometimes makes you really sad. But even when you're upset, you still want to love and be loved because it makes you feel so alive."

"How do you kiss someone on the mouth?

Firstly, you have to put your mouth on the other person's mouth. Next, open your mouth (the other person has to do the same otherwise it won't work) and slide your tongue into their mouth. The aim is to use your tongue to caress their tongue. Then, you both sort of roll your tongues around in different directions. In fact, both tongues just have a really good time together."

awwwwwwwwww! i really love materials that sanction sex and everything related as regular and unpretentious as any other biological function. actually it's the ultimate biological function but i like grandiose topics discussed in unconventional forms. take the coffee cup for example. in the la times article they follow a 9 year old girl and her mother experiencing the exhibit at the request of the child. awwwwww. i think most of us were like that at 9 years old. you know, remember asking your grandmom what happy hour meant and walking around naked after a bath while your parents tried to towel you up. the towel thing happened just last week. jk. the exhibit talks about the emotions encasing love and kissing, explains puberty to child audiences, describes pleasure and romance and all in comic format. here's a quote from the la times, Clemence is that 9 year old girl.

"While a gaggle of giggling boys pressed all the buttons on a display about the sounds of kissing, Clemence stretched out in "Nadia's room" on an enormous red-velvet bed in the shape of a heart, her arms crossed behind her head, one leg dangling over the edge. A sweet smile spread across her lips as she gazed up at the bed canopy and watched a movie screen that displayed classic scenes of falling in love from different movies. She saw languorous kisses and swooning lovers dancing, but also domestic disputes, breakups and heartbreak."
awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

below is the form to make your own love letter. why there is an old math teacher staring you down like you spelled your own name wrong is lost on me.
