a birthday party. a new crowd. and a curfew.
some of us had to be up early on sunday morning. also also, i feel like i have to be somewhat less bitchy about describing the party. hopefully not, but we'll see.

is it ever ok to have perfectly sculpted stubble? i'm genuinely asking. i thought manicured face bush was thrown out with metrosexuality. and i'm not ragging on t or t. you already know about my beard fetish.

a. adams was taking up space on the porch. generally no one gave a shit about hims.

at one point somebody told me condescendingly 'i don't watch tv' when i asked her if she's ever seen mad men. um, seriously, lady? did i slip and accidently say 'reba' instead of 'mad men'?
cause if not then there are three things wrong with her statement that i'd like to point out.a) we've, by far, passed the age when we can talk condescendingly about television watching. it's the behavior of an uninformed high school freshman to think he's so much better than anyone else for not watching t.v. television has the great quality of having more than one channel. you simply change the channel to find something that suits your current intellect, whether it be a documentary, news program, corny sitcom, educational special, scripted reality show, or fluffy teen soap drama. only an anachronistic or self-loathing person would show such disdain for something that obviously has reasonable advantages.
b) uh. i didn't tell her i liked according to jim and therby dug my own grave. i asked her if she watched mad men, a series, albeit a bit soapy series, about advertising, the TOPIC of which we were TALKING ABOUT.
c) i hate to be the bearer of bad news (not really), but for someone working at a television station, she's got issues.

daaaaaance paaaaartyyyyy!
the rest of us morons sat on the couch gulping down wine.
that includes me!!

beer story: so i brought a 6pack of my own piss beer like a good girl and within an hour people had stolen it so when alex williams got there i told him to take one (only one!) of the santa fe brewing beer already in the fridge for revenge. the best quote of the night was when i overheard a.w. telling marc 'oh yeah, there's beer in the fridge but you have to look around for it in the lettuce drawer'. aaaaahahahahahah!

why so serious, buddy?
this girl works at the new nob hill urban outfitters. nice but too sober.

this looks like fun but it's not. my knees were creaking and cracking on the way down. oh god am i old?
why are you holding each others hands?
this picture's going in hot beards xxx folder on desktop.
so is this one.

not sure, but i believe si, j, marc, tim, a, and t forced the rest of the party into jesse's room. i honestly wouldn't be surprised if i'm right.

cops were called again. again. again! third time at two parties. we lined up for i.d. evaluation.
basically we all stood around jesse's front yard making fun of each other while jesse argued and argued and argued with the cops on the sidewalk. ten hours later one of the cops started banging on the wall saying we were hiding someone in the house who was knocking down all our beer cans. i think he was being serious but everyone laughed.
one of the coppers.
calm down baby.
k. tired of typing. just use your eyeballs now.

i don't care what you say. i'm putting this last pic in my B*E*S*T F*R*I*E*N*D*S frame.
