just him and me

friday night. if we were drug addicts, we would have been on our fifth spoon of heroin.
very little to do at the house of mr. b. we almost went bored out of our minds so we made up a game called "i'm me and you're you". it's the exact opposite, although relatively similar, to playing our usual rainy day game of "i'm you and you're me" in which we dress up and play exaggerated monsters of each other. it usually winds up in a teary eyed fight and one of us bites the other.

in our NEWER AND IMPROVED game of "i'm me and you're you", we play scrabble as exaggerated versions of ourselves. marc makes the world's WORST PUNS with a three foot fatty in his mouth and i cry about marc's friends hating me while drunkenly babbling about idiotic gossip.

i'd say it's mostly about being self-aware but mainly it's about winning at scrabble.
i'm JOOANN COLLLLLLLIIIINNNNSSS!
we watched the debate on channel 5. i was having a hard time understanding every tactic and strategy they were referencing so i had to look up so so so many things. there are still a lot i need to learn about current politics. alibi live blog helped some. marc watched silently. he didn't even talk about mccains incessant smiling when obama would point out his fallacies!
but i did. all 450 times.
remember when mccain told the corny story about some lady in the airport who gave him a bracelet and everyone in america rolled their eyes at him. but then obama told his bracelet story so we collectively rolled our eyes at him too. mostly, i think, everyone agrees eye rolling should be strictly bipartisan.
goodnight. and a special goodnight to marc's furry red mustache.
my new baby camera! it's a real beauty.

the next morning we got up, brushed our hair and got ready. i curled my hair and marc combed his stache.
we parked downtown on saturday. they were setting up tents for an art showcase. we walked to flying star and wasted an hour there eating clam chowder and pancakes. albuquerque the magazine's annual HOT SINGLES issue was out so we felt compelled to read it. there was only one gay person in it. my pick for marc was the sexed out snowboard instructor with bitchy responses. my pick for si was the young and pretty elementary school teacher who owns a chihuahua. and my pick for me was whoever the richest youngest guy was. don't be offended, this is how human sexuality operates.
mr. b. was sporting a boner while looking at the decks. her art was amazing. and pricey by abq's standards.
i so wanted to buy the skeleton print from her.
didgeridoo.
marc said he can make better furniture. when he's old and settled and i'm done being a wild child we're going to open a furniture store. he'll make it and i'll handle marketing. marc's best work to date can be seen in wealthy uppity assholes' houses in the foothills.
20% awesome, 50% boring, 20% bullshit, 8% bohemian, 2% cowshakers.
