it feels as if written slowly. deliberately. so as to make her point absolutely unmistakable. the story opens up and leans on you before you're ready and it's uneasy. it details the specifics regarding partial birth abortion ban of 1998. and sheds a light on an oft hushed topic of second trimester abortion.
the sections explaining the bill are hefty. they don't mess around. but the description of her terminated pregnancy is worth reading just to know how it is.
it's frightening. and it shouldn't be.
